Ottawa's first and favorite wine bar in found tucked beneath "The Fish Market Restaurant" in the historical Byward Market. We feature 80 wines by the glass, 30 single malt scotches, craft beer flights, 40 Belgian Beers, 200 Imported Beers, from cabernet sauvignon to pinot grigio, with another 200 bottle selections, 25 assorted wine flights tastings nightly. Wine Spectator Award winner every year since 1989. This quaint candle lit cellar features a traditional bistro menu featuring $14 French Fries (with a magnificent side order of striploin steak and caesar salad included) Seafood, steak & frites, charcuterie, smoked chicken poutine, fresh oysters, calamari, deep fried Camembert, Gorgonzola tortellini, chicken Parmesan, halibut, salmon, artisanal cheeses, lamb, scallops, shrimp, an array of mussels are prepared daily by our chefs. Live Local Jazz artists perform every Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm, no cover charge.
